An employer is always looking for that one special and unique candidate who fits personality wise, career wise, ambition wise and education wise in your company. To find this candidate, one needs to have a good P&O department or the proper network, which costs a lot of time, energy and eventually money.

Whether it is about a fixed job or a job on interim base, Basics Hospitality Recruitment can set up a profile together with you and can manage the whole recruitment and selection process for you. During this selection we will give you a continuous update on candidates who we find interesting for your company and the discussed position(s). From here you will take over the process and Basics HR will guide, advise and help you to eventually make the right decision.
If needed, Basics HR can set up an independent psychological and/or capacity test, to provide you an official scientific report of a candidate.

Next to recruitment and selection of fixed jobs and/or interim personnel, Basics HR can also help you to take care of only the selection process and not the search.

Basics Hospitality Recruitment Step by Step

While our business is tailor made, we can inform you step by step about our general procedures.

Step 1: Vacancy
According with your preference, your vacancy can be presented by phone, fax or e-mail. Your request will be discussed with our team and one of our consultants will contact you directly to discuss your request in detail.

Step 2: Corporate Interview
As our office is situated in The Netherlands, we request as much corporate information as possible to obtain a good understanding of your company to provide the best service to you as well as to our candidates.

We will also visit your country on a regular basis and during these visits we will contact you.

From our point of view, the following elements are very important:

  • Introduction from both sides;
  • Determine needs & wishes;
  • Determine your preference of service;
  • Determine the atmosphere of the company;
  • Exchange contact details.

Step 3: Judgement
Although we can inform you immediately what we can do for you during the corporate interview, we will give you a definitive answer within 24 hours after this interview. Consequently: clarity at all times!

Step 4: Confirmation of the assignment and function profile
On the basis of mutual trust, the team of Basics International is already busy with the recruitment activities. The file needs to be formed through three standard elements:

  • A function profile which is approved by you. In case your company does not possess a function profile, your personal consultant will assist in setting up a profile.
  • A conformation of the assignment, signed by both parties. We will send you this document, in which all the oral appointments are formulated.
  • A signed document of our general conditions.

Step 5: Recruiting & Selecting
After we have received the above mentioned documents, we will continue with our recruitment and selection activities.

By evaluating resumes, interviews and personal experience, the candidate is analyzed on what kind of person he/she is, what his/her capacities are, what his/her ambitions are and what he/she is looking for in a future job. All the information combined will give a clear overview of the candidate and his/her wishes of development.

A selection process like this contributes to finding the right person for the right vacancy.

Step 6: Presentation of the Candidates
After the selection process, your personal consultant will introduce the best candidates. The resumes will be sent to you by fax or by e-mail, together with a clear explanation of the candidate.

Step 7: Job Interviews and Follow-up
According with your preference, your consultant will arrange the date and time for the job interview. Your personal consultant will stay in contact with you and the candidate during and after the whole selection process.

Step 8: (Financial) Round Off and Evaluation
After the right person is selected, an oral agreement will be set up between you and the candidate. The payment will be rounded off according to the terms of delivery. The procedure will be rounded off with an evaluation conversation with you as well as with the candidate.
This evaluation phase will be very important for keeping our service on a high level.
As mentioned before, your personal consultant will stay in contact with you and the candidate on a regular basis after the selection process.
